Privacy & safety
Some things aren’t roadmap items. They’re the terms on which AltHost exists at all.
Every member of every AltHost community passes age verification before they can participate. No exceptions, no checkbox standing in for proof.
KYC source images are deleted after processing. We keep the verification result — never your ID, never your selfie.
Private conversations are being built E2E-encrypted, so not even AltHost can read them. In progress — and we’ll say so plainly until it ships.
Safety reports are attributable and appealable, scoped to the community where they’re made. We don’t run anonymous, platform-wide ban lists.
Verification, reporting, and moderation tooling ship on every plan, at every price. Safety is not an upsell.
